Pdm. Yenni, a servant of God who serves in Kalimantan, recently contacted us to share her struggles. Missionaries are facing hardships on the mission field, especially in Kalimantan, where they often have to travel 260-270 miles to reach unreached people.
In the past 10 years Yenni has seen a spiritual crisis unfolding with her congregation. Even though many of them have been served for years by missionaries, they are not willing to lend support to these servants of God. With an income of only IDR 1.000, how can they afford to pay for their daily needs?
Here's what Yenni shared:
"Many servants of God working in this area received assistance from YASKI. Because of this, they were able to become independent and are able to help their congregation. It became an unending chain of goodness. But then assistance started to decrease. Ten years later, I see that YASKI cannot help God’s servants in many remote areas."
Yenni is only one of hundreds of servants of God who are struggling to do their ministry. Can you help them continue their invaluable work?
The assistance we offer missionaries does not make them dependent to us, because we only provide financial gifts once and the rest of their support is their responsibility.
Please support and pray for us. God bless you! |
