In addition to distributing radios with Yayasan Hati Melayani Indonesia (YHMI) in South East Nusa, YASKI also helps them distribute scholarships to children in need.
Scholarships were offered to 6-10 children each in the villages of Oeklani, Kalbano, Fotoun, Manufui and Nufleu. After the scholarships were distributed, some of the children cried because they did not get one. As a result, they do not know if they will be able to finish their studies, which made them very sad.
We really want to provide scholarships to all the children who need them, but we simply don't have enough funds.
